Weekends are never long enough! [Sep. 6th, 2004|10:41 pm]
Labor Day weekend has come and gone for another year! Mine was groovy and I hope yours was as well. If you have been checking back to look for new changes you might of been disappointed. Please take my word that there are some new things bubbling under the surface. I matted and framed a couple of prints last night and they looked super good and I can hardly wait to start offering them for sale. I chose two black and white shots and placed them in black metal frames with white matting. Fabulous baby! Going to be sending some images off to be printed this week or next to help me decide the max sizes I can offer for each shot. I have not had a chance to actually go out and shoot yet in September, but I will get some time in this week or this weekend. Be sure and check in to see how much garbage I am able to pick up. I will blog my results if it is not listed on my home page. I have been given this whole garbage thing a lot of thought lately. I hope that not only can I inspire people to join me by picking up litter, but to bring about awareness of the fines and punishment for the crapheads who are responsible for the litter. What are your rights, how to turn somebody in etc. Let's face it, we can pick up this stuff till doomsday but unless people start taking a hit in their wallet for their big mac wrapper missteps, nothing will change. Have no fear you big businesses, I will have enough to do just dealing with the casual litterer to mess with you. To be honest, I don't currently know the specifics of the litter laws for my state but I am going to look into it. Perhaps I will end up listing each states litter laws and persons to contact under "Taking more than photos from nature". Kinda makes my head spin when I think about where all this could lead too. We shall see. Have a safe week! God bless!

Things are going well. [Aug. 24th, 2004|12:02 am]
Hi,

I have very busy as of late and have not had much time to do an update. As tired as I am I wanted to jot down a few things before calling it a day. The site has been updated and now has a contact form and some nice things under photography resources that may be of interest to you. There will be more stuff added there next month so be sure and check back. You can expect at least one new photo to be up in gallery two this week called "Spike" and I am working on a neat butterfly shot too called "Majestic" Having some trouble with color adjustments so it may not get included. I am my worst critic as they say. I am going to start keeping track of shooting time beginning in September and how much garbage and junk I pick up will most likely be updated on a weekly basis. There will be something you can click on to see a graphic from the "Taking more than photos from nature" link.

You may have noticed that there is nothing under Order as of yet as I am still undecided as to what sizes to offer and what prices I should set for my work. Look for me to have this completed in September, in the mean time if you have a burning desire to hang one of my prints on your wall all you have to do is e-mail me at scottatfoundmyfocus.com. Sorry about spelling out at, but those pesky little spam bots are out there ready to feast on posted e-mail addresses and I cannot allow that to happen. Ok, thats all for now. Thanks for your time and God Bless You.

My website [Aug. 3rd, 2004|10:13 pm]
Hello,

I am very pleased at how my website is progressing along. It's turning out to be better than I could of ever dreamed. My webmaster is first rate and all the credit goes to her. I would appreciate anyone who stops by foundmyfocus.com and likes what they see to sign our guest book and/or drop me an e-mail. It might be a bit longer before I have ordering information up. I want to carefully consider print size, to frame or not to frame, shipping methods and of course pricing. I also have not determined how many copies of each image I will make available. I am still working on what to put under photography resources as well. Well, lots to do and very little time to do it in. Bye for now and God Bless.
